BUILDING THEIR FUTURE

Building your Future is a non-profit association created in 2015, whose objective is the recognition and collaboration in the management of the School Our Lady of Rongai, Kenya. It was promoted by the architect Clara Purroy, whose final project was the school.

 

I joined the project in October 2016, at the beginning of the design of it, I could see it grow from the first sketches. My work then consisted of developing the RRSS (Facebook) until reaching 2000 followers. These last two summers, as a volunteer, has acquired increasing responsibility, it is a burden of a group of volunteers during construction.

 

Today, the team consists of 7 young people and about 120 volunteers. It has been without a doubt one of the best experiences I have had the luck to live.
